The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Out of love, Jesus Christ came into this world to be the perfect sacrifice so that by accepting His sacrifice, we may enjoy eternal life with Him. We are to use our time left in this life wisely, sharing the good news of Jesus.
We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to our world. The ordinances of the church are Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (as revised by the Southern Baptist Convention in 1963).
God has called us to work together with other local congregations so that we can more effectively share the love of Jesus with our neighbors and the nations. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Illinois Baptist State Association, and the Nine Mile Baptist Association.
